Hello! I’m Kathy Ahoe. I have always lived in Minnesota. I wonder why sometimes with all the snow and cold we get every winter. LOL . I wouldn’t live anywhere else. We live on 5 acres in North Central MN.
Our family sometimes has extended children with us for short/long periods of time. We are a Foster Family for our county. We have enjoyed 11 years of it. Our family has had many enjoyable children come into our home. My first dog was a male Yorkshire terrier (Scooter) whom lived to right old age of 13. I fell in love with the Chinese Crested breed several years back and several years later purchased my 1st-True hairless male (Brodi). He was the perfect little man to start off my love of the breed.
I breed for quality and constantly strive to raise the standard. My puppies are born in my bedroom where they remain until they are ready to leave to their new home.
At about 4 weeks of age, the puppies are moved to the living room where they become accustomed to many noises, people coming in and out, and other dogs (separated by an ex pen, of course, to insure their safety.)
Our babies get handled, played with and loved daily. The puppies begin their house training by using puppy pads in their ex pen. All of my puppies’ homes are carefully selected.
I have a 16 year old daughter, Samantha, who loves her cell phone and iPod about as much she as loves her dogs. She started dog showing a few years ago and has done a wonderful job of it.
I am the eldest of five children. I have two brothers, and two sisters. I have 8 nieces and nephews.
